What would be a better investment/solution for freezing food: a Foodsaver vacuum sealer with a nozzle, or the flat one?

I like the idea that the first one can be used with containers, but it only comes with 2, and additional are very expensive. I won’t be freezing any soups or sauces, so the bags might just be enough…
Can anyone share experiences or advice?
Thank you!

and just keep them in the pantry? For example, I have recipes for dry mixes for things like lemon herb rice, biscuits, pancakes, soups where you put instructions on the bag/jar and they’re just pre-measured amounts. Then you can just dump it in a pot and cook it or make the biscuits, like the box mixes you get. It seems like it would save time and money but I’m not really sure! Does anyone do this? Do you just put them in ziplocks or jars, vacuum seal?

I’m planning on making meals ahead of time and storing them in a months use. What kinds of vacuum seal storage bags/containers should I use?? Should I wrap them in foil first?? What about soups??
PS .. I do have a vacuum sealer system (foodsaver).
Thanks in advance!!
