I am going camping and was wondering if anyone knew if you could drain tuna out of a can and put it in a food saver and vacuum seal it. I have several cans of tuna but it would be easier to carry in a sealed pouch instead of a can. I’m wondering if it would go bad? I’m not sure if the pre-made pouches are different than whats in the can.
For some travelers, compression sacks are an easy way to save space and organize gear. Simply fold up your clothes, place them inside, seal the zip-lock top, and then roll the bag (from the top) to force out the air inside. While this works best with bulky, puffy clothing, compressions sacks are still a great way to keep your clothes clean and dry while on the road. Highly recommended. For home storage of bulky items (comforters, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.), the Space Saver Bags from Target are a cheap way to keep these items clean and compact. Sold by Target (3-pack, Large size, 21.5×33.5 inches/54.6x85cm, MSRP .99) For Heavy use while traveling, I would opt to pay more and get a more durable compression sack from Eagle Creek. You only need one so make it a good one. Available at REI and online. Medium (15.5×24.5in./39.4×62.2cm, MSRP ) Large (17.5×28.5in./44.5×72.4cm, MSRP ) X-Large (27.5×38.5in./69.9×97.8cm, MSRP ) 2-pack (M+L) (MSRP ) 3-pack (S+M+L) (Small Size measures 11x16in./27.9×40.6cm, MSRP ) This video was shot with a Canon G9 on loan.
