Space Saving Bags for suitcase **Easy 10 points**?

I’m moving back to college and have a lot of stuff to take on the airplane. What is the best “space saving bag”/vacuum seal storage bags to buy that’ll fit in a large suitcase? Thanks

I think there are only two brands. Get the kind that you use the vacuum cleaner hose to suck out all the air. It works especially well with comforters and pillows. Pack your suitcase really tight (with other stuff that isn’t in the bag, like hair dryer, makeup etc.) around the bag after it’s been "condensed". The bags can and do come open on planes due to the pressure changes. The tighter you have your suitcase packed the less opportunity for the bag to expand. I did once break the zipper on a suitcase, but I’ve used these bags about 10 times and gotten smarter too.

The space saver bags with the vacuum attachment are great for storage, but horrible for travel. The vacuum seal can come loose with travel. Eagle Creek makes a space saver bag that you roll the air out, it is safer for travel. They have multiple sizes for any kind of clothes or blankets and the seal will not pop open from movement.

Yes I prefer theses for storgae as opposed to travel, they fit in to handy little spaces.
